This is Ohta. For the traditional denim lovers.
This deep blue denim vest is upcycled and hand embroidered in my atelier in Amsterdam.
This piece is made out of old jeans turned into a jacket inspired by the traditional japanese working jackets.
The denim is worn out and soft, hand embroidered in the way of sashiko, the traditional japanese mending technique.
The front and back are linked on the side with smaller pieces of denim. The raw edges and worn out denim give it a rough patched up look.
