The Japanese Rice Bag
A structured, hand-stitched bag built through repetition and rhythm. This kit guides you through the creation of a traditional Komebukuro, a vessel historically used in Japan for temple offerings or carrying rice.
Everything in this kit is prepared to remove the friction of "setup," allowing you to sink immediately into the meditative flow of the needle. Each denim panel comes pre-marked with Moyōzashi patterns, your role is to bring them to life, one stitch at a time.
THE FINISHED PIECE
A tactile, rugged, and deeply personal bag to hold your treasures or your current stitching projects.
Dimensions: Approx. 13 × 13 cm (5.1 × 5.1 in)
Materials: Durable denim outer, lined with soft navy blue cotton.
