A Canvas for Rhythm and Stillness
This large-format stitching piece is designed for the meditative practitioner. It is an invitation to slow down and find focus through the repetitive, rhythmic motion of the needle.
The centerpiece features a thoughtful composition of Moyōzashi (pattern stitching) and Hitomezashi (one-stitch sashiko), pre-marked and pre-hemmed on navy cotton. As you work from the edges toward the center, the design unfolds progressively, a dialogue between your hands and the fabric.
This project is suitable for all levels. There is no "perfect" stitch only the rhythm you create.
