Tide Knots is a hand-stitched bandana made entirely from reclaimed cotton textiles. Using the traditional Japanese technique of Shibori Nui (stitch and resist), each piece is carefully stitched by hand before being hand-dyed in natural indigo.
Once the stitches are removed, the indigo reveals the delicate, unique patterns created by the stitching, no two bandanas are the same.
The bandana comes with a small adjustable metal closure, available in gold or silver, to fasten at the front.
The shape is a 48 cm × 48 cm square, designed to be tied around the head or neck as you prefer.
Like all pieces dyed with natural indigo, this bandana will develop a beautiful, soft fade over time, reflecting how it is worn and cared for.
