A calm space to learn, practice, and explore stitching

What is The Stitching Practice?

The Stitching Practice is my new online space where all my workshops now live.

It’s a place designed to make learning easier, calmer, and more continuous, both for you and for me.

From now on, this is where you’ll find:

  • recorded workshops you can follow at your own pace

  • future live workshops and project-based sessions

  • occasional live stitching circles or Q&As

  • a private community space for people who’ve taken a workshop

The idea is simple:
everything in one place, instead of scattered across emails, platforms, and one-off events.

What’s changing

(and what isn’t)

Over the past years, I’ve taught the Starter Sashiko workshop live many times.

I’ve now chosen to make this workshop available as

a recorded course, so you can:

  • start whenever you want

  • revisit the content as often as you need

  • work at your own rhythm

  • And still benefit from Live Q&A quidance

This doesn’t mean I’m stopping live teaching. I will still offer you live online guidance on the platform on a regular basis.

I’m restructuring the way I teach to offer you more options and simplify the process, I am not disappearing.

About the community space

Full access to the community is included when you purchase a workshop.

It’s a private, closed space for people who’ve followed one of my workshops.

You can use it to:

  • share your work (or just look around)

  • ask questions

  • exchange tips or resources

There’s no obligation to post or be visible.

You can be active, quiet, or simply present.
All approaches are welcome!

The stitching circle is open to everyone! If you'd like to attend, simply sign up for free on the platform.

Already attended the live workshop?

If you have previously attended the Sashiko Starter Workshop (live),

you will receive free access to the recorded version via an invitation link through your email.

This allows you to:

Revisit techniques calmly

Refresh your understanding of patterns

Continue practicing with a clear reference

Details on how to access the course will be shared

directly with past participants.

If you have attended but haven't received the invitation link please send an email to info@silentwavestudio.com, with your name, date of the workshop you attended and the email address used at the time.
